About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and adaptable Casual Relieving Administrative Officer to join our dynamic Surgical Directorate team.

In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth operation of clerical, reception, ward clerk, and secretarial functions by providing relief during annual leave, long service leave, and other unexpected absences.

Reporting to the Business Consultant, Surgical Directorate, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day tasks of clerical staff, ensuring work is completed accurately and on time, and handling complex administrative issues as they arise.

You will work collaboratively with hospital staff to assess priorities and allocate workloads efficiently. You will offer expert guidance to less experienced team members, ensuring high standards of service and continuous improvement.

This role requires someone with strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, as you will be coordinating between departments to meet the evolving needs of the Surgical Directorate while maintaining a positive, team-focused environment.
