About the Role

The Scots College is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to support our EYC teachers in providing high-quality assistance to our students. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the success of our students and contributing to the strategic direction of the College.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide assistance to EYC teachers in all areas of class/student learning and management
  • Work collaboratively with teachers to develop and implement effective educational programs
  • Support the development of Reggio Emilia-inspired classroom pedagogies and practices
  • Contribute to the creation of a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Certificate III Qualification in Early Childhood Education
  • Experience working with 3 and 4 year old children
  • Understanding of Reggio Emilia philosophy
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills and experience working in teams
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other staff members
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
