Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced State Performance Lead to join our team at Goodstart Early Learning. As a State Performance Lead, you will play a critical role in supporting our centre teams to achieve exceeding performance and become empowered, informed, and adaptive leaders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Empower Centre Directors and teams to uplift performance and achieve exceeding standards
  • Understand each centre's KPIs and capability needs, and develop strategies to address them
  • Simplify or remove ineffective management processes and implement best practices
  • Monitor performance using data, observations, and insights, and provide regular feedback to Centre Directors
  • Collaborate with the State Support Team and Direct Centre Support Team members to align support with centre needs
  • Work with expert services to uphold Goodstart's standards and ensure centres have effective systems and processes in place
  • Assist the State Manager with succession planning for Centre Directors and ensure a smooth transition of leadership

Requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to strategically think, collaborate, and coordinate across state and national functions, and navigate complexity, competing priorities, and constantly changing situations and needs
  • Strong business acumen across all domains of centre performance, including the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Framework
  • Early Childhood Teaching qualification preferred, with a sound knowledge of the EYLF and NQF
  • Valid NSW Working with Children Check Card, current National Police Clearance, and current Open Driving License
