Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Cyber Governance and Compliance expert to join our team in Sydney.

As a passionate Cyber Security Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the Group Information Security Policy Framework, cyber risk governance activities, and cyber security compliance management with domestic and international regulatory regimes.

This role is a great opportunity to contribute to protecting the organization, its customers, and community from current and evolving cyber threats.

About the Role
  • Maintain the Group Information Security Policy Framework and partner with key functions across the organization to embed requirements and extend user understanding.
  • Implement and maintain governance frameworks to support the organization's information security risk and compliance objectives.
  • Monitor the legislative, regulatory and policy landscape and provide information to stakeholders on developments and impacts.
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversight of cyber risk governance activities including risk reporting to specialist committees and Board.
  • Cyber risk management accountabilities for the organization's international branches.
  • Oversight of cyber security compliance management with domestic and international regulatory regimes.
Requirements
  • A well-developed risk mindset to proactively identify, understand, communicate and act on current and emerging cyber security risks.
  • Extensive experience in running an enterprise cyber security governance, risk and compliance function.
  • Previous experience with information security risk and control management frameworks and translating and implementing those within complex organizations.
