• Create engaging news stories and content for multiple mastheads and external clients.

• Produce high-quality written reports under tight deadlines in a fast-paced newsroom environment.

• Utilize strong research and writing skills to develop unique and compelling news features.

• Work collaboratively with editors and other journalists to ensure accurate and timely delivery of news content.

• Develop a deep understanding of social media platforms and their application to news reporting.

• Stay up-to-date with current events and breaking news to inform and enhance news content.

• Contribute to a multimedia newsroom serving multiple digital and print platforms.

• Some weekend and intra-state travel may be required.

• A solid understanding of news writing, journalistic ethics, and media law is essential.

• High levels of personal organization and time management are required.

• Must have a personal driver's license.
