Power and Water Corporation is a government-owned utility in the Northern Territory, managing a vast area of 1.3 million square kilometres with diverse environmental conditions. The corporation is responsible for generating, transmitting, and distributing electricity, as well as providing water and wastewater treatment services across the Northern Territory for the benefit of residents, including remote Aboriginal communities.
Role Overview:
We are seeking two dedicated Water and Sewer Coordinators to enhance our operational effectiveness by overseeing the management and maintenance of our water and wastewater assets. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring that these systems operate efficiently and meet established service levels and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate day-to-day repairs and operations of water and wastewater systems.
- Ensure compliance with service levels and licensing requirements.
- Provide 24/7 service coverage and respond promptly to system interruptions.
- Conduct regular inspections and travel to remote community assets.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess an AQF Certificate III in water or wastewater operations or a formal trade certificate in a related field, along with substantial experience in the installation, repair, and maintenance of water and wastewater systems.
Additional Information:
