Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Automation and Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in designing and implementing automation and self-service capabilities for infrastructure and cloud services.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement automation and self-service capabilities for infrastructure and cloud services using scripting languages such as Python, Bash, and PowerShell.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and drive workflow innovation, leveraging tools like Hashicorp Terraform, Red Hat Ansible, Github, Bitbucket, Azure Devops, and JIRA.
  • Owning your code - write clean, maintainable scripts that are secure and version controlled, ensuring efficient monitoring, troubleshooting, and refinement of automated processes.
  • Create clear and concise documentation for automated workflows, processes, and configurations, facilitating knowledge sharing and upskilling across the business.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Collaborative and curious mindset, with excellent open communication skills.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell) and experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Skilled in operating systems (Redhat Linux, Windows Server) and public, private, and hybrid cloud platforms (VMware Aria, Microsoft Azure).
  • Understanding of cloud security principles and best practices, including identity and access management (IAM), logging, secret management, encryption, and firewalls.
