We are seeking an exceptional senior professional to lead our employment practice in QLD.

About the Role

This is a rare chance to take on a senior position in an established practice with strong national support and a client base that includes major insurers, government clients, and prominent employers.

  • The role offers the opportunity to rebuild and grow the QLD practice, bringing in junior lawyers and leveraging existing support staff.

You will have the autonomy to work across the full spectrum of employment and workplace law, including:

  • Employment and HR advisory matters
  • Industrial relations strategy
  • Unfair dismissal, discrimination, harassment, and workplace health and safety matters
  • Employment-related litigation and Employment Practices Liability (EPL) insurance claims
Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Building and managing a team of lawyers and support staff
  • Growing a small practice and shaping its workflow
  • Maintaining strong client relationships and leading marketing initiatives
Requirements

To be considered for this position, you will need to have over 10 years' post-admission experience specialising in a broad range of Workplace Matters and be seeking to assume a leadership role. You will also require a proven ability to build and manage a team, grow a practice, and maintain strong client relationships.
