Disability Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Disability Support Worker to join our team. As a key member of our support team, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our clients.

As a Disability Support Worker, your primary responsibility will be to provide high-quality support to clients in their own homes with daily life activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and domestic assistance.

  • Personal Care: showering, bathroom assistance & grooming
  • Medication Monitoring: we provide on-the-job training and nationally recognised certificate
  • Palliative Care: both aged care and aggressive forms of disability
  • Domestic Assistance: light house work, shopping and light yard work
  • Meal Preparations
  • Social Support

To be successful in this role, you must have the following:

  • Working With Children Check
  • NDIS Worker screening check
  • First Aid & CPR
  • NDIS Orientation Modules
  • COVID-19 Infection Control (Australian Government)
  • Reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance

Requirements
  • Experience in Disability, Aged Care or Allied Health is preferred but not required
  • No formal qualifications are necessary, but relevant certifications are desirable
Benefits
  • Competitive hourly rate: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
  • Part-time hours: 20 per week
  • Shift work available, including afternoons, days, evenings, and weekends
  • Public holidays included
  • Bonus, overtime pay, penalty rates, and performance bonus opportunities
Additional Information

Covid-19 vaccination is required, and face masks, hand sanitiser, and other PPE are supplied.

Driver's license and reliable transportation are preferred but not required.

Australia work authorisation is preferred but not mandatory.
