About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to join our team at Amazon Web Services (AWS). As a Solutions Architect, you will play a critical role in helping our customers in the Financial Services sector to optimize their adoption and leverage of AWS technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop deep, consultative relationships with Fintech customers to understand their unique business challenges, technical requirements, and compliance needs.
  • Provide expert guidance on how to optimally adopt and leverage the full potential of AWS services to modernize applications, migrate workloads to the cloud, and accelerate the development of innovative industry solutions.
  • Architect and deploy resilient, secure, and scalable cloud-based solutions tailored to the Financial Services sector.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with customers to design, implement, and optimize cloud infrastructure and applications.
  • Enable customers to achieve their business objectives by fully leveraging the capabilities of the AWS services and industry best practices.
  • Stay abreast of the latest AWS services, features, and best practices to ensure customers benefit from your knowledge.
  • Share knowledge and insights to help customers navigate the evolving cloud landscape and contribute to the ongoing development of innovative AWS offerings for the Financial Services industry.

Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in a technology domain area, such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data & analytics.
  • 2+ years of experience in design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
  • 7+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries.
  • Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
  • Experience working with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective.
