Role Overview

This leadership opportunity is for a highly skilled and experienced Building Services Engineer to lead our Melbourne-based team. The successful candidate will manage a group of senior engineers, focusing on people development, project delivery, and client relationships.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of building services engineers, providing guidance, mentoring, and performance management.
  • Collaborate with other leaders to drive multi-disciplinary projects, ensuring effective strategic planning, resource allocation, and utilization.
  • Utilize technical expertise in Building Services to provide insights for project proposals, lead major projects, and foster strong client relationships across diverse portfolios.
  • Apply commercial acumen and analytical skills to interpret complex financial systems and reports, contributing to business success.
  • Drive innovation and best practices within the discipline, ensuring the team stays ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies.

Qualifications and Experience:

The following qualifications and experience are desired, but not required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Building Services-related engineering or equivalent, with extensive experience in team leadership and people management.
  • Ideal 10+ years of experience in the Building Services sector, with a proven track record of delivering projects as a Lead Engineer or Project Manager.
  • Demonstrated experience in resource planning and project coordination across multiple projects.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams, collaborate with engineers from various disciplines, and engage with clients, consultants, and project teams to drive successful outcomes.
