Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced External Security Vetting Analyst Team Leader to spearhead a high-performing team of security analysts.

About the Role

In this critical position, you will lead a team assessing clearance cases and leveraging your experience in vetting with attention to detail. You will be accountable for Quality Assurance, enforcing stringent quality controls on Personal Security Files (PSFs), and providing sound, data-driven advice on clearance outcomes.

  • Process security clearances meticulously, adhering to the Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF) and industry best practices.
  • Conduct thorough Quality Assurance checks on Personal Security Files (PSFs) ensuring their alignment with standard procedures and the PSPF.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with multiple internal and external stakeholders and senior team members to deliver efficient and effective caseload management and execution.
Your Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Leading high performing teams and assessing clearance cases.
  • Leveraging experience in vetting with attention to detail.
  • Accountability for Quality Assurance and enforcing stringent quality controls on PSFs.
  • Providing sound, data-driven advice on clearance outcomes.
Key Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Extensive vetting experience in Government or similar high-security environments.
  • A minimum Negative Vetting Level 1, with the opportunity to upgrade to Negative Vetting 2 as required.
  • Certificate IV in Government (Personnel Security Vetting).
