About the Opportunity

We are seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic transdisciplinary team at Vision Australia. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals who are blind or have low vision to live the life they choose.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with clients of all ages, providing individual and group OT training/intervention programs. You will showcase your ability to deliver and evaluate clients through various interactive and digital assessments, and assess and train clients in the use of assistive devices and equipment to do everyday activities.

You will also provide/advise on low-vision techniques and strategies to improve their occupational performance on daily activities and improve quality of life. Our team is committed to providing exceptional client services, and we are looking for someone who is passionate about supporting people to live life on their own terms.

About You

To be successful in this role, you must hold a nationally recognised Qualification in Occupational Therapy (or be in your last year completing your degree) and be a current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). You will also have knowledge and skills in working with children, adults, and older adults, and be a team player who is passionate in supporting people to live life on their terms.
