About the Role

The Electrical Compliance Specialist will be responsible for ensuring all electrical installations and works conform to the requirements of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and Amentum's Policy and Procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Electrical Safety Program.
  • Manage the Site Electrical Inspection program and associated training curriculum.
  • Inspect electrical installations, repairs, or modifications to ensure conformance to all relevant codes, standards, plans, and specifications.
  • Conduct field inspections and compile investigation reports.
  • Support the early identification, communication, and resolution of technical deficiencies and/or issues associated with critical infrastructure installation, recapitalization, and configuration change activities.
  • Support the integration, coordination, compilation, and communication of technical information, recommendations, and advice relevant to facility electrical infrastructure, systems, and equipment.
  • Facilitate and advise on technical integration activities and initiatives.
  • Provide technical recommendations, input, direction, and advice on facilities system, infrastructure, and equipment reliability, operation, maintenance, and life-cycle management.

Requirements

  • State Licensed Master Electrician.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical work, including domestic, commercial, and industrial electrical work.
  • Leadership and management experience.
  • Project management/planning experience.
  • Configuration management experience.
  • LOTO and other EH&S procedures experience.

Security Clearance

The employee will require a Top-Secret Positive Vetting (TSPV) Department of Defence Security Clearance (Australian) or TS/SCI clearance.
