Job Title: Senior Estimator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced senior estimator to support the estimating manager on a busy workload. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong local networks amongst subcontractors and suppliers to join our team and contribute to the success of our business.

About the Opportunity:
The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of building robust estimates with attention to detail, as well as experience working on tenders over $20m. A broad range of skills and expertise across civil works, concrete, roads, bridges, etc is also essential. Additionally, the ability to identify risk and opportunities within tenders, analyze and offer alternative designs based on past site experience is crucial.

Skill Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in Civil, Structural, or Quantity Surveying
- Minimum 10 years' experience in civil estimating in Australia
- First principles estimating on large-scale tenders
- Experience across various aspects of civil works, including concrete, roads, and bridges
- Ability to effectively manage risks and opportunities within tenders
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with internal and external stakeholders
- Proficiency in industry-specific software such as Expert Estimation, Candy, and Benchmark, would be highly advantageous.
