Job Title: Clinical Lead Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Lead Occupational Therapist to join our team at HealthcareLink. As a Clinical Lead, you will be responsible for providing supervision to therapeutic employees, ensuring high-quality therapy services, and managing a small caseload.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and mentor new graduates and junior OTs to ensure they are providing high-quality therapy services.
  • Ensure therapists are providing evidence-based and well-documented therapy services.
  • Be available to answer questions from clinicians and provide guidance and support as needed.
  • Assist the recruitment team with requests and help new employees with scheduling and induction.
  • Manage staff workloads and capacity, considering staff availability and service area.
  • Manage complaints and conduct performance appraisals for staff.
  • Implement performance management plans for staff as needed.
  • Liaise with other clinical leads to ensure consistency across teams.
Requirements:
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience working in a relevant field.
  • Leadership and management experience of clinical staff.
  • Full AHPRA Registration.
  • Working with Children Check (WWCC or Blue Card).
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check.
  • Evidence of COVID-19 vaccination (or valid exemption).
  • Police Check.
  • Driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Car insurance.
  • Professional Indemnity and Public Liability insurance.
  • First Aid certificate (desirable).
