About this role

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our Core Operations function in the Portfolio Operations team for a 12-month fixed term contract.

This position presents a chance to work within a dynamic environment that requires discipline, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. The successful candidate will operate at the forefront of business-as-usual activities that support our investment strategy, with a strong emphasis on compliance, governance, and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage liquidity across various funds and asset types, ensuring efficient implementation of cash management strategies.
  • Prepare and execute instructions for portfolio investment activities, oversee proxy voting according to governance policies, and manage complex private market transactions.
  • Establish and maintain investment accounts and referential datasets at the Custodian, resolve non-standard operational queries, and contribute to the development of process documentation and reporting dashboards.
  • Evaluate and enhance the Portfolio Operations operating model through participation in strategic initiatives and projects.

What you need to bring

To excel in this role, you should possess over seven years of experience in investment operations, ideally within institutional funds management, custody services, or superannuation.

A deep understanding of transaction implementation across asset classes, including private equity and alternatives, is essential. Additionally, proficiency in platforms such as Aladdin, Power Platform, Sequel, and Python is highly desirable.
