Job Title: Afternoon Shift

Labourforce is seeking a reliable and skilled Tanker Delivery Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely operating LPG tankers and delivering medical gases to our clients throughout Sydney.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate LPG tankers in accordance with statutory requirements and HSE policies.
  • Perform line haul deliveries to terminals, major customers, and tanks throughout Sydney.
  • Manage the accurate and timely loading and unloading of LPG tankers.
  • Conduct regular vehicle checks and maintenance, ensuring all safety equipment is operational.
  • Collaborate with the logistics team to manage delivery schedules and customer orders.
  • Report any customer site defects or safety hazards and handle customer complaints effectively.
  • Participate in safety activities, including emergency response drills and incident reporting.
Requirements:
  • MUST have a valid HC licence.
  • MUST have a valid Dangerous Goods licence.
  • Experience and confidence operating a commercial vehicle in a safe manner.
  • Previous experience with Handling Dangerous Goods is desirable.
  • 1 Year Experience with Tanker delivery driving is essential.
  • Ability to work autonomously but contribute towards collective goals and objectives.
  • Good knowledge of Australian Dangerous Goods requirements.
  • Experience in healthcare related logistics would be favorable, but not essential.
  • Be customer orientated with a 'can-do' attitude.
  • A Demerit Points Statement is required.
  • This position involves the provision of services to clients requiring you to undertake a National Police Check.
  • The successful candidate will be required to attend a pre-employment medical examination.
