About this role

Delivering 4 Customers (D4C) is a consortium of industry-leading Tier 1 organizations partnering with Sydney Water to deliver design, construction, maintenance, and facilities management services across the southern region.

We are seeking an Electrical Supervisor to join our dynamic team in an exciting time of growth. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering a $34 billion program over the next 10 years to build, maintain, and protect Sydney Water's iconic water resources.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the work and performance of multiple teams and subcontractors to achieve outcomes, taking leadership responsibility in health, safety, and environment management.
  • Manage High and Low Voltage installations, Switchboard replacements/upgrades, process upgrades, instrument, control, and PLC installations, upgrades to treatment plants, pumping stations, reservoirs, and pump replacements.
  • Complete required reports, recording progress, issues, and usage for shift handover reports, and maintaining consistent regular reporting to the Construction Lead.
  • Manage and complete timesheet entries, leave applications, and relevant site-based labor issues.
  • Ensure compliance of commercial and financial costs, including budgets and the implications of directions within designated authority limits.
  • Read and understand plans, review design documentation, read drawings, and provide feedback, supporting implementation of final designs.
  • Maintain effective consultation with stakeholders, referring major issues to the Construction Lead, and identifying, communicating, and mitigating risks prior to works commencing.
  • Planning and procurement of appropriate plant, material, and resources to fulfill project requirements.
  • Manage access and movement of materials, plant, and equipment to and within the site and work area in a safe and cost-efficient manner.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant Hold and Witness Points on Quality Assurance documentation.
Requirements
  • Australian Electrical Trade Qualification.
  • Electrical Licence – Qualified Supervisor or Contractor.
  • Substantial electrical industry experience.
  • NSW Drivers Licence.
  • White Card.
  • Desirable: Sydney Water or Water Industry experience, High Voltage Experience, Experience with Control systems, Instrumentation and PLCs, Electrical Equipment in Hazardous Areas, ACMA Licence – Open registration, Confined Space/ WAH/ WHS Cert IV.
