We are seeking an experienced and skilled Area Manager to join our Operations team at Thrive Early Learning Centres. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for supporting and guiding centre leadership teams and educators to deliver exceptional early education experiences for children.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership and guidance to Centre Leaders and Nominated Supervisors on all aspects of centre operations, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Liaise closely with the Head of Operations to report on centre performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Manage compliance and risk across multiple centres, working collaboratively with key stakeholders.
- Support the acquisition journey for centres transitioning into the Thrive portfolio, ensuring a smooth transition and integration.
- Manage budgets and provide regular financial reports to the Head of Operations.
- Provide training and mentoring to Centre Leaders and Nominated Supervisors to enhance their skills and knowledge, and provide feedback on performance.
- Ensure Workplace Health and Safety responsibilities and obligations are met across all centres.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Centre Leaders to drive growth and increase occupancy.
- Act as a point of escalation for any issues arising from centres or families.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role within an Early Childhood Service or 5 years' experience as a Nominated Supervisor in an Early Childhood Service.
- Diploma or teaching qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care.
- Extensive knowledge and experience of long day care settings.
- Proven ability in administrative procedures, curriculum development, parent and community liaison, staff professional development, and team leadership and management.
- Understanding and working knowledge of WHS legislation.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the Child Care Subsidy system and ability to perform software applications for compliance.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework, Education and Care Services National Law, and Education and Care Services National Regulations.
