About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Support Specialist to join our team at Uniting AgeWell. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, person-centered care to residents in accordance with their individual needs and preferences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver exceptional personal care to residents, including complex needs such as palliative care, dementia support, restorative care, and pain management.
  • Support nursing staff in assessment, care planning processes, documentation, and evaluation of care outcomes.
  • Monitor the cleanliness, safety, and environment of the facility, reporting any issues of concern promptly.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • A Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent (Aged Care).
  • Experience in residential aged care or home care, preferably with dementia care and palliative care support.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with excellent communication skills.

Essential Requirements:
  • A current Working With Children Check card.
  • Current and ongoing flu vaccinations.
  • Australian working rights.
  • Ability to pass a national police clearance and NDIS Clearance.

As a Personal Care Support Specialist with Uniting AgeWell, you can expect:

  • A competitive salary package, estimated to be around $65,000 - $75,000 per annum, depending on experience.
