Job Title: Experienced Project Manager

Overview

We are seeking a skilled project manager to lead our team in delivering successful projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing complex construction projects and possess excellent leadership skills.

Main Responsibilities
  • Project Coordination: Oversee operational activities for multiple or large-scale projects, ensuring efficient project delivery.
  • Risk Management: Minimise risk exposure across projects and maintain strict adherence to health and safety protocols.
  • Client Relationships: Develop and manage client expectations, ensuring they are met or exceeded.
  • Reporting: Generate progress reports tracking time, cost, and quality metrics.
  • Financial Management: Review and maintain project budgets and costs, ensuring accuracy and profitability.
  • Resource Allocation: Coordinate plant and equipment for construction activities.
  • Tender Management: Manage commercial construction tenders, negotiations, and operations to project completion.
  • Invoicing: Ensure accurate invoicing and claims requests, monitoring receivables.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyse profitability, revenue margins, and rates, ensuring financial objectives are met.
  • Forecasting: Forecast, control, and report project financial performance, managing costs against approved budgets.
Skill Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in commercial design and construction projects.
  • Project Management: Demonstrated project management capability, particularly in projects exceeding $10 million.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading and understanding complex engineering and construction drawings.
  • Software Skills: Advanced Excel skills for work scheduling and estimating.
  • Physical Capability: Physical capability to assist and direct on-site works.
  • Health and Safety: Strong understanding of workplace health and safety practices.
  • Financial Management: Excellent financial management and reporting skills.
  • Site Safety: General site safety induction card (blue/white).
