About the Role

  • You will be working in a controlled temperature environment with a friendly team of people.
  • You will need good hand-eye coordination and be happy working at a fast pace while ensuring quality work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Checking and packing products according to requirements
  • Selecting products according to customer and section requirements
  • Operating machinery to ensure weights and quality standards of products are being achieved
  • Handling food products appropriately and within strict hygiene standards
  • Cutting meat & vegetable ingredients to specification for processing, measuring, mixing, and cooking
  • Cleaning of work areas, machinery, and equipment
  • Lift/push/pull up to 15kg
  • Working in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines
  • Working quickly at conveyor belts
  • Working in chilled and freezer conditions as required

To Be Successful In This Role You Will Need:

  • The ability to work under pressure in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Able to work in a cold environment set to 4 degrees, possibility of freezer work
  • The ability to work within strict quality standards guidelines
  • A great eye for detail
  • An excellent team player with an energetic and flexible approach
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Physically fit and capable of working in a cold environment
