Metal Fabricator/Boilermaker Role

About the role:

As a Metal Fabricator/Boilermaker, you will be responsible for maintaining heavy earthmoving mobile plant and mining equipment including CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi, Liebherr and trucks/buses such as ISUZU & Volvo. Your duties will also include:

  • Repairing equipment efficiently and consistently to meet required standards
  • Mobile call outs as required

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess:

  • An International Drivers Licence (to be changed into a valid Australian Drivers Licence) - MR or HR preferred
  • A recognised Trade Certificate as a qualified Metal Fabricator/Boilermaker
  • Able to provide a National Police Clearance
  • Complete a Pre-employment Medical including Drug & Alcohol Screen
  • A team player with a strong focus on safety
  • Experience on Caterpillar, Komatsu and Hitachi Equipment
  • Experienced on Mobile Plant Fabrication, maintenance and modifications on large mobile mining equipment
  • Bucket repairs and refurbishment and tray work are essential skills
  • Strong integrity, reliable and desire to achieve quality outcomes
  • Able to work independently without supervision, as well as in a team environment
