Heavy Equipment Technician

As an experienced heavy equipment technician, you will be responsible for daily service and maintenance of light and heavy vehicles to ensure their safety and reliability adhere to manufacturer standards.
About the Role- Frequent interstate travel required for FIFO flights from capital cities
- Residential options available in Bendigo and surrounding areas
Working at the Fosterville Underground Gold Mine with a 2/2 roster and hourly rate from $68.98 per hour (dependent on experience).
About You- Previous experience in a similar role preferably within a mine site environment
- Australian-recognised trade certificate or equivalent
- Demonstrated experience working on Sandvik drill rigs advantageous
- Proven track record in repairs and maintenance of heavy earthmoving equipment underground
- Breakdown repairs and servicing of heavy mining equipment
- Diagnostic fault finding on mechanical systems
- Maintenance data management on a daily basis
- Strong planning and organisational skills
