AV Technicians Job

We are seeking a skilled and experienced AV Technician to join our team at Fiona Stanley Hospital.

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and customer-focused individual to support the delivery of high-quality audio-visual services to patients and staff across the hospital. As an AV Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for a range of AV equipment, including video conferencing systems, patient entertainment systems, and conference rooms.

As a key member of our team, you will work closely with other departments to ensure seamless integration of AV services into the hospital's operations. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing new technologies to enhance the patient experience.

You will have a strong background in technical troubleshooting and problem-solving, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience working with professional audio-visual systems, video conferencing or patient entertainment systems is highly desirable.

As an AV Technician, you will be required to work independently and as part of a team to achieve outstanding care. You will demonstrate proactive teamwork and collaboration with others, as well as a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.

  • Provide technical support and maintenance for AV equipment
  • Develop and implement new technologies to enhance the patient experience

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A strong background in technical troubleshooting and problem-solving
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working with professional audio-visual systems, video conferencing or patient entertainment systems (highly desirable)
  • Diploma level qualification in a relevant discipline (desirable)
  • Certifications such as Crestron accreditation, Infocomm accreditation, or ITIL Certifications (desirable)
