We are currently seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Senior Research Officer. This position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with one of Australia's largest funders of heart health research, supporting life-changing initiatives aimed at improving the heart health of all Australians.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Coordinate the annual funding application review process within agreed parameters.
  2. Provide secretariat support for grant review committees.
  3. Collaborate with the research team to coordinate and implement an annual research grants funding calendar.
  4. Maintain accurate records and ensure that funding guidelines and associated materials are up-to-date.
  5. Deliver induction programs for new researchers to foster engagement with the research program.
  6. Develop and continually improve operating processes and procedures.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in program coordination and administration in a health or research setting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience working with consumers or volunteers in a research context.
