The role involves:

  • Leading the Australian practice and collaborating with US and EMEA teams.
  • Driving business development through networks and engagement in the startup community.
  • Providing innovative solutions to client challenges and fostering growth in technology law.
  • Delivering high-quality legal work that differentiates us from others.
  • Managing key client relationships and acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Supporting tech innovators in achieving their goals.
  • Engaging in complex problem-solving to produce meaningful results.
  • Building internal and external relationships and providing pragmatic advice.

You will bring:

  • 10+ years PQE as a qualified lawyer with expertise in areas like Corporate Commercial, Cyber & Data Privacy, IP, or Financing.
  • A generalist approach with deep knowledge of emerging technologies like AI.
  • Excellent communication skills, especially with startup founders and C-suite executives.
  • Creative problem-solving skills with pragmatic solutions.
  • Self-motivation, independence, and ownership of results.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • A pioneering spirit to help establish our presence in the market.
