Mater Misericordiae Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to fill the position of After Hours Nurse Manager. This is a permanent, part-time role (24 hours per week) based at our South Brisbane campus.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical and operational leadership to ensure the provision of high-quality patient-centered care outside of normal working hours.
- Manage the effective and efficient flow of patients, ensuring the right patient is in the right place at the right time.
- Act as the out-of-hours Emergency Response Warden and/or Commander.
- Practice within the relevant Standards for Nurses as per the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and other legislation, standards, and codes that impact or inform evidence-based practice.
- A current AHPRA registration and a tertiary qualification in specialty (or working towards).
- A minimum of five years full-time experience in a specific clinical specialty.
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Trendcare, KRONOS, and ShiftMatch.
- High-level interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage with internal stakeholders at various levels.
