We are a privately owned and operated residential aged care home that has been operating in Forest Lake since 2000. Our mission is to help and support people to live their best lives and we are looking for people who are passionate about caring for the elderly

At Forest Lake Lodge, we adopt a holistic approach to caring for our residents. This means nurturing and supporting each resident's emotional, physical, spiritual and recreational needs and desires. **About the role**
- $170,000 per annum + 11% super
- $30,000 KPIs
- 4 weeks leave
- Some flexibility with working hours
- Participate in on-call roster

**Context**
- Reports to the Board
- Direct reports are:

- Finance Manager
- Clinical Operations Manager
- Quality and Education Coordinator
- General Services Manager
- Administration Supervisor

**Accountabilities**
- Providing strong leadership and oversight of all Forest Lake Lodge (FLL) business units as per the Schedule of Delegations.
- Delivering exceptional and compliant care within operational standards;
- Ensuring the home is operating within budget and maximising revenue; and
- Enhancing the reputation of FLL.

**Minimum Qualifications**
- Post graduate qualifications in aged care management or business management.
- At least 5 years’ experience leading clinical teams and implementing clinical systems.
- At least 5 years’ experience in executive management within the aged care sector with demonstrated outcomes.

**Minimum Skills and Experience**
- A true leader capable of leading culture change, workforce planning and holding people accountable.
- Demonstrated ability to meet tight budgets.
- Demonstrated experience with successfully maintaining compliance and accreditation.
- A comprehensive understanding of the regulatory/evidence-based practice environment in residential aged care, the Aged Care Quality Standards and National Disability Insurance Scheme regulation.
- Clinical governance, quality and/or auditing expertise.
- Demonstrated ability to review, run and implement systems and processes resulting in business success.
- Excellent understanding of the software, architecture and systems that underpin residential aged care, including experience implementing new software systems.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation and delegation skills.
- Highly efficient, with a proactive attitude.
- Emotionally intelligent with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Highly motivated with a willingness to go the extra mile.

**Desirable Skills and Experience**
- Vietnamese language.
