Research Scientist: Printed Solar Cells for Building-Integrated Photovoltaics

The Monash University and CSIRO collaboration invites applications for a PhD scholarship in the field of building-integrated photovoltaics. The successful candidate will work on developing semi-transparent electrodes for integration of solar cells into building-integrated photovoltaics (BIPV) products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop new materials and processes for low-cost semi-transparent electrodes
  • Conduct research and experiments to achieve the project goals
  • Collaborate with the supervisory team and industry partners

Requirements:

  • Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or Australian permanent resident
  • Meet participating university PhD admission requirements
  • Meet university English language requirements
  • Not have previously completed a PhD
  • Be able to commence the Program in the year of the offer

  • The EOI is assessed by the supervisory team and shortlisted applicants are interviewed
  • The supervisory team nominates a preferred applicant
