Senior Manager Opportunity

The National Offshore Petroleum Safety and Environmental Management Authority is seeking an experienced senior industry professional to fill a management role in its Regulatory Operations and Strategic Regulation & Improvement Divisions.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead a functional team of technical experts to ensure safety and health, well integrity, structural integrity, and environmental matters meet legislative requirements.
  • Provide authoritative and strategic advice on environmental science, risk management, management systems, operations, safety, well integrity, and decommissioning.
  • Work with the Executive Director and/or Deputy CEO to plan, secure, retain, and allocate resources.
  • Improve effectiveness and efficiency by working collaboratively within and across divisions.

This is an opportunity for a senior manager to make a significant impact in ensuring offshore energy operations and greenhouse gas storage activities are carried out safely and sustainably.

Requirements
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in a regulatory environment or major hazard industry.
