Seeking a dedicated Community Support Worker to provide exceptional care and support for our clients across the Gold Coast.
About the Role:We have an exciting opportunity for a compassionate and nurturing individual to join our team in providing daily support activities, accompaniment, food preparation, personal care, household tasks, and social interaction.
Key Responsibilities:- Accompany clients during daily activities, outings, and errands
- Prepare meals and assist with shopping
- Provide personal care and hygiene support such as showering and dressing
- Perform household tasks including cleaning, laundry, and ironing
- Offer social interaction and companionship
- Transport clients to appointments
- Hold a Certificate 3 in Individual Support or equivalent qualification
- Previous experience in aged care or disability is preferred
- NDIS clearance is required; willing to obtain if necessary
- COVID-19 Vaccination is mandatory
- A current Police Check is essential; willing to obtain if needed
- Current First Aid Certification including CPR is required
- Must have a reliable vehicle and relevant insurance
- Dementia care qualification is advantageous
- Proficient communication skills are necessary
