Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, greeting customers, handling payments, and maintaining high visual merchandising standards in our store.

This is a dynamic role that requires strong communication skills, a genuine desire to deliver outstanding service, and previous experience working in a customer-facing role.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A proven track record of providing exceptional customer service
  • Previous experience working in a retail or sales environment
Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing service, advice, and product solutions to both trade and retail customers
  • Tinting paint products to customer requirements
  • Inventory control (Goods Receiving/Stock taking)
  • Taking orders in-store and by phone
  • Replenishing stock including 15L paint drums
  • Building strong relationships with repeat customers in-store and fellow colleagues
  • Keeping up-to-date with the latest colour forecasts and product releases
  • Assisting with visual displays, store presentation, and housekeeping
  • Complying with safe work practices

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A driver's licence to make local deliveries
  • Point of sale system knowledge or tech-savvy
  • Numeracy skills sufficient to perform POS transactions
  • The ability to follow instructions and work effectively unsupervised
