Hotel Maintenance Technician Job Description

Maintenance Technicians play a vital role in ensuring the comfort and safety of hotel guests. We are seeking highly skilled individuals to join our maintenance team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine checks on swimming pools, water treatment systems, and equipment to ensure proper functioning.
  • Diagnose and repair electronic lock systems, PTAC units, ice machines, and other equipment to prevent downtime and maintain guest satisfaction.
  • Perform light plumbing tasks such as unclogging drains, repairing leaky faucets, and fixing toilets.
  • Carry out electrical work including replacing outlets, switches, and basic wiring to meet guest needs.
  • Maintain records of all maintenance activities, inspect equipment, and implement corrective actions as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in hotel or building maintenance, apartment complex maintenance, or light commercial property maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of pool chemicals, their application, and necessary safety precautions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
