Rotating Equipment and Vibration Specialist

We are seeking a skilled engineer to work in our team of consultants specialising in industrial vibration applications, machine reliability, structural dynamics and design.

The ideal candidate will have experience with rotating and reciprocating machinery, turbo machinery and structural vibrations. They should also be able to develop technical calculations from codes or first principles.

Our scope of services covers root cause analysis, recommendations and stress analysis or design for clients in oil & gas, defence, power and mining industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide engineering consulting services to clients.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff.
  • Perform site measurement and analysis of structural vibration problems.
  • Implement condition monitoring systems for rotating equipment.
  • Identify improvements within internal workflows.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering (post-graduate degree highly regarded).
  • 5 to 15 years of practical experience with rotating equipment, structural vibration and/or other dynamics application.
  • Ability to develop technical calculations from codes or first principles.
  • On-site experience in industrial, oil & gas or mining applications.
  • Excellent communication skills and computer proficiency.
  • Experience in writing technical proposals and quotations.
