This position will work in conjunction with Orange Door staff and leadership in delivering services to Aboriginal women, men, and children who enter the hub intake system.

About You:

  • You have a demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the values that underpin our vision and purpose.
  • You are able to take a leadership role in championing these internally and externally.
  • You have a proven ability to work and engage with Aboriginal families and children.
  • You have a demonstrated understanding and application of Family Domestic Violence models (MARAM) approaches, theories, and practices when dealing with clients.
  • You have a demonstrated understanding and application of Information sharing schemes (FVISS, CISS).

Requirements:

  • You hold a tertiary qualification in social work, social sciences, or a related field.
  • You have working experience and expertise in the sector.
  • You must hold a full Victorian Driver's Licence, a current employment Working With Children Check card, and a clear National Police Check.
  • You have knowledge of the Family Violence Protection Act 2008 and The MARAM Framework.
