Job Overview

This role involves working as an Electrical Project Specialist to support large-scale capital projects, with a focus on a major de-watering and aquifer recharge initiative.

Key responsibilities include managing and overseeing electrical design deliverables to ensure quality and compliance, developing procurement strategies and packages for switchrooms, MCCs, HV and LV equipment, monitoring and ensuring equipment fabrication meets schedule, quality, and standards, providing electrical engineering support throughout construction and commissioning, and engaging with internal and stakeholders to drive project success.

  • Manage and oversee electrical design deliverables to ensure quality and compliance
  • Develop procurement strategies and packages for switchrooms, MCCs, HV and LV equipment
  • Monitor and ensure equipment fabrication meets schedule, quality, and standards
  • Provide electrical engineering support throughout construction and commissioning
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to drive project success
Requirements
  • Proven experience as an Electrical Project Engineer on large-scale mining or infrastructure projects
  • Strong understanding of HV and LV electrical equipment, switchrooms, and MCCs
  • Experience in engineering management and quality assurance for design deliverables
  • Knowledge of procurement strategies and vendor management
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
