Job Description for Senior Designer at Jo Jo Fashion House

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Designer to join our team at Jo Jo Fashion House. As a Senior Designer, you will be responsible for leading the design process and creating innovative and stylish designs for our women's apparel products.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design Leadership: Provide design direction and guidance to junior designers and design teams to ensure consistency and quality in our designs.
  2. Design Development: Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our brand's aesthetic and design language to create designs that meet our high standards.
  3. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, merchandising, and marketing to ensure seamless design-to-production processes.
  4. Design Execution: Create high-quality designs that meet our brand's standards, including technical drawings, prototypes, and production-ready designs.
  5. Design Innovation: Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, technologies, and industry developments to bring innovative and fresh ideas to our designs.
Requirements:
  1. Experience: 3+ years of experience in design in the women's apparel industry.
  2. Skills: Advanced experience in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, tertiary qualification in Design or equivalent, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  3. Knowledge: Good working knowledge of fabrication and print, and strong attention to detail and ability to follow design briefs.
  4. Soft Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
