ETF Trader Support Specialist

We are seeking an experienced ETF Trader Support Specialist to join our team in Sydney. As a key member of our trading team, you will provide exceptional support to our traders, ensuring seamless execution of trades and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as liaison between traders and other dealers, brokers
  • Execute orders per the request of traders, ensuring trading system parity
  • Compile and reconcile data from electronic trades
  • Examine electronic transactions generated from clearing firms
  • Resolve erroneous and broken trades
  • Assist with maintaining position, P&L, and information exchange
  • Update and manage post-trade screens, including exchange trading systems and proprietary trading applications

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in financial services, preferably in ETF trading or operations
  • Thorough knowledge of equities, ETFs, corporate actions, and equity derivatives
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, and experience with Python, VBA, and SQL
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to maintain composure under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
