Job Description

This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a new career and be truly rewarded. We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Employment Consultant to join our team in Woden.

As an Employment Consultant, you will be working with participants in the Workforce Australia program to assist them to overcome barriers to employment and successfully transition into the workforce.

Key responsibilities include managing a high-volume caseload of job seekers, actively engaging with 'work ready' job seekers to secure sustainable employment outcomes, clearly identifying and addressing barriers preventing jobseekers from being job ready, providing participants with the tools and confidence to enter the workforce, and applying strong problem-solving skills and resilience to maximise employment outcomes.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A confident and trustworthy self-starter who thrives on the opportunity to achieve meaningful results and problem solve
  • Ability to think on your feet and adapt to challenging situations and an ever-changing environment
  • Demonstrated experience in achieving and exceeding business KPI's and targets
  • Computer skills and knowledge of MS Office is essential
