Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced quality professional to join our team as a Quality Assurance Specialist. This role will support the Quality Manager in ensuring quality control and assurance processes are upheld within our automated glass manufacturing facility.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Quality Manager in developing, implementing, and monitoring quality control processes and procedures throughout the production lifecycle.
  • Conduct regular inspections of raw materials, in-process production, and finished products as required.
  • Optimise automated systems using data analysis to improve quality and efficiency.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and support audits.
  • Train and mentor staff, promoting a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate across teams to align quality objectives and report on performance metrics.

Your Requirements

  • Proven experience in quality control or assurance, ideally within a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of ISO, GMP, HACCP standards, and safety regulations.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Proactive approach to issue resolution, attention to detail, and strong coaching skills.
  • Proficiency in Quality Management software, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.

Educational Background and Certifications
