About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Systems Administrator to join our Corporate IT team at Aussie Broadband.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and guidance to our corporate staff, working closely with our team to ensure the smooth operation of our IT systems.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing technical monitoring and management of corporate infrastructure to ensure they meet performance, reliability, functionality, and security requirements.
  • Engaging with other ABB technical and operational teams to ensure a world-class customer experience.
  • Investigating and resolving anomalies and incidents escalated by technical support teams, monitoring systems, or identified during daily, weekly, and monthly management.
  • Escalating incidents to relevant team leaders, managers, carriers, or third-party vendors in a timely manner.
  • Coordinating, following up, and managing escalated incidents affecting ABB services, including vendor faults.
  • Overseeing or leading the analysis, design, documentation, planning, deployment, and testing of complex adds, moves, or changes for the business.
  • Assisting with defining, prioritizing, coordinating, and executing ABB Corporate IT projects.
  • Identifying and implementing automation of regular tasks to improve efficiency and increase reliability, performance, and functionality of customer solutions.

We are looking for a self-motivated and customer-focused individual with a strong background in Systems Administration, Systems Engineering, or a related field.

Key requirements include:

  • 5+ years of experience in a Systems Administration, Systems Engineering, or similar role.
  • Degree or diploma in a related field, including Microsoft certification.
  • Broad knowledge of Microsoft technologies and System Administration.
  • Passion for continuous learning and self-improvement, with the ability to quickly gain understanding and competency in new technologies.
  • Excellent personal organization and time management skills.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing situations.
