Courier Supervisors play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of pathology specimens across the metro region.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supervision and mentoring of Couriers
  • Review of Courier run sheets and staff rostering
  • Liaising between external stakeholders
  • Process improvement projects

You will be responsible for managing the collection, transportation, and delivery of specimens, as well as managing ancillary items such as reports and stores.

Maintaining patient confidentiality and QML Pathology integrity while adhering to all relevant policies and procedures is essential.

This key position requires strong leadership and organizational skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of courier services.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Developing and implementing effective strategies to improve courier operations and workflows is also an important aspect of this role.

Additionally, you will be required to carry out routine courier runs predominantly for the pickup and delivery of pathology samples including urgent specimens.
