We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Settlements Officer to join our team in Perth. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and settling commercial asset finance transactions with a focus on exceptional customer service.

This role is ideal for individuals who are proactive, organised and able to multi-task with experience in similar or related roles.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to ensure transactions are reviewed and settled in a timely manner. They will also assist with post-settlement queries and issues, and correspond directly with brokers to assist them in their requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing commercial asset finance transactions for settlement to ensure compliance with appropriate risk, legal and regulatory guidelines.
  • Working collaboratively with internal stakeholders to ensure transactions are reviewed and settled in a timely manner.
  • Assisting with post-settlement queries and issues.
  • Corresponding directly with brokers to assist them in their requirements.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 1 year experience working in settlements, asset finance or mortgages.
  • A strong customer service focus.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Demonstrated initiative, drive and enthusiasm.
  • Quick learning abilities.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
