Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated treatment plant operator to lead our Water and Wastewater team. This senior role is critical to ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of water and wastewater treatment plants.

The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of water and wastewater treatment operations, including adherence to regulatory requirements, health standards, environmental protocols, and safety regulations. They will also possess excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and be digitally literate with experience in using computer applications.

Key responsibilities include leading by example, guiding a dedicated team to maintain critical infrastructure, providing hands-on mentoring and support to staff and trainees, and shaping the next generation of industry professionals.

Responsibilities:

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Certificate III in Water Industry Treatment or equivalent
  • Extensive working knowledge of water and wastewater treatment operations
  • Demonstrated experience in supervision and training of staff
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Digital literacy with experience in using computer applications
