About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Laboratory Assistant to join our team at Glencore. As a key member of our Central Services Laboratory, you will play a critical role in providing timely and accurate preparation and analysis of metallurgical and plant samples.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect, prepare, and analyze a range of samples using various analytical techniques.
  • Support the Laboratory's commitment to providing assays to plant areas across the mining lease.
  • Work collaboratively with the Laboratory Supervisor – Production to ensure seamless sample preparation and analysis.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of metallurgical and plant sample analysis procedures.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of two years' experience in a similar laboratory environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Australian manual driver's license.
