Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Care Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of all areas within the facility.

The role involves vacuuming, mopping, and polishing floors, dusting, polishing, and general tidying, as well as cleaning bathroom facilities. Additionally, the Residential Care Assistant will assist with the provision of a safe, efficient, and hygienic care service through maintaining a clean environment and adhering to infection control practices.

  • Vacuuming, mopping, and polishing floors to maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
  • Dusting, polishing, and general tidying of all areas within the facility.
  • Cleaning bathroom facilities to ensure they remain hygienic and clean.
  • Assisting with the provision of a safe, efficient, and hygienic care service.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate:

  • Aged Care experience (desirable).
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Sound cleaning experience (preferably in an Aged Care environment).
  • Knowledge of kitchen and cleaning processes, standards, systems, and equipment.
  • Current Flu Vaccination for 2024 & COVID vaccination mandatory.
