About the Role

Mclean Farms, a diversified family-owned agri-business, is seeking a skilled Landscaping Crew Member to join their team in a full-time capacity. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for the development of new sites and maintenance of existing grounds at McLean Farms' poultry sites.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Site Development and Maintenance: Regular mowing of all grassed areas, precise spraying of areas to control vegetation, establishing new plants and maintaining existing garden beds and trees, and establishing and maintaining irrigation systems.
  2. Equipment Maintenance: Maintaining equipment and vehicles, and operating machinery if licensed.
  3. Additional Duties: Other duties as required, including pest control and shifting of livestock.
Requirements
  1. A current valid drivers' licence.
  2. HR licence and slasher/tractor experience desirable but not essential.
  3. Ability to work as part of a team and work autonomously when required.
  4. Strong inter-personal skills, able to work co-operatively with internal and external contacts.
  5. Willingness to adhere to all health and safety, biosecurity and operational requirements.
  6. Reliability, punctuality, and motivation.
