Job Summary

This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a talented team committed to developing innovative designs for high-performance buildings. As a Fire Protection Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and executing projects ranging in size and complexity, focusing on fire protection systems for healthcare, sports, aviation, labs, and commercial, industrial, and precinct level infrastructure.

  • Design and execute projects from concept to completion, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and building codes.
  • Participate in the design development, application, evaluation, recommendation, and specification of engineered systems or products for building and infrastructure fire systems.
  • Lead a design team through the project life cycle, supporting the team in client meetings, collaborating with other disciplines and consultants, coordinating site service and electrical requirements, and performing field reviews.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure successful project outcomes.

As a key member of our team, you will take ownership of projects from start to finish, focusing on sustainable solutions and outcomes. You will promote active, continuous learning and improvement within the team; mentor and coach team members. Additionally, you will support the Team Lead to plan projects, optimize resources, manage timelines and budgets, and allocate resources effectively.
